Hey! check it out! Another Skullcrab painting. I was looking to do another Skullcrab painting & fate shined on me. I’m doing Tattoolapalooza in Miami this coming June & I was informed they needed artwork for the skate deck trophies. I sent of a sketch and it was approved. One sleepless week later, this is what I came up with. Hope you love it. I had a great time painting it.

“STOLI the SKULLCRAB” PAINTING – OIL 16X20

I finished this confused little fellow about a month ago and am just now getting around to posting it. It’s my first solo oil painting (I did a collaborative oil painting with Michael Banks 2 years ago), so I’m really happy with how it went. Right now I’m getting art together for a big project “Carkayous”. My part will be called “Roklej”. I’ll have to explain later since it’s in the early stages, but I’m creating characters to live on my land and in my sea. I’m not sure if this will be a main character, but there will definitely be plenty of Skullcrabs.

OCTOTHUG & ATTACK SHARK TATTOO

I got a chance to do a really fun tattoo recently. I’m not sure what he had in his mind, but when he described his idea I immediately thought of this grim reaper & pitbull tattoo design I’d done a million times when I worked for J.D. Crowe. Cleopatra & Snake Tattoo – Anubis & Bast Tattoo

I really hadn’t ever got the chance to do an Egyptian themed tattoo. I had a intense “Egypt Phase” back in 1984 when Iron Maiden came out with Powerslave, but since then I haven’t given Egypt much thought. As it turned out I had a lot of fun with, not only these tattoos, but also the guy getting them. It really makes the experience so much better when the customer is cool. So everybody, be more like Ben. I also did a dragon with a Pog Jammer in his talon, but that was much too cool to post here. It would make your mind explode. Maybe another time. Thanks Ben

ELECTRIC EEL TATTOO / FINALLY FINISHING JESSE’S NECK

When we were down there we had an intense session or two working on Jesse’s neck and I’m sure, for him, this one was too. The big difference is this time we finished everything. VELOCIRAPTOR TATTOO / WINTER TATTOOLAPALOOZA

Just got back from another trip down in beautiful Miami Florida for the 1st Winter Tattoolapalooza. It was a great time and I got to see some old friends and make some new ones. Most importantly I got to start a few bigger pieces. I did get to finish a fun Velociraptor tattoo that I’m hoping we can add on to down the line when I’m back in Miami. I have two more trips down there this year. I hope I have as much fun at them as I did at this one. Thanks to Mickey, Frank, & Christa for always making Tattoolapalooza such a great time.

CARDINAL & CLOCK TOWER TATTOO

I’ve only been in Richmond for a year and a half now, but I definitely love this city. That’s why I was really excited to be asked to bring Scott’s idea to life. He wanted a tattoo of a famous landmark in Richmond, the Main Street Station clock tower. We also added a couple cardinals because it’s Virginia’s State Bird. I thought that added a great touch.
